The purpose of this job is to develop, implement, and maintain an effective grain origination program and assist the members with marketing strategies. This position will maintain and increase regional grain market share and customer retention records as well as make sales calls on present and perspective customers. Develop and monitor customer marketing plans and sales history. Assist employees within the region and help coach them to assist in market development. Communicate via CMS regularly with Regional Managers and Superintendents. 4-Year degree or equivalent job related experience. 2 years Ag business experience preferred.

| OUTSIDE OPERATIONS |

The purpose of this job is to perform outside operational functions in order to benefit internal and external customers of West Central, while maintaining clean, safe, and well-kept facilities. Assist in all aspects of the grain department with emphasis on maintaining grain condition, grain drying operations, receiving and unloading grain operations. High school diploma or equivalent. 6-12 months general work experience preferred. |

| WASTEWATER OPERATOR |

This position is responsible for the effective operation, maintenance, and repair of the facility and equipment of the West Central/Ralston wastewater consistent with IDNR and EPA requirements and standards. Provides ongoing maintenance and repairs functions related to the effective operation of wastewater collection and treatment systems. High school diploma or equivalent and Current Grade II Wastewater Operator’s Certificate required.
2 years practical experience in wastewater treatment operations as defined in Chapter 81 (455B) of the Iowa Administrative Code.

The purpose of this job is to develop, implement and maintain an effective and profitable agronomy sales and customer service program for the Western Region. This position makes sales calls and recommendations for present and new customers regarding fertilizer, chemicals, seed, tillage practices, crop consulting, etc. Work with developing CMS notebook information with key accounts. Working with growers on fertility, weed and insect problems. Establish and evaluate test plots regarding seed bean varieties, corn hybrids, new herbicide options, soil fertility and tillage practices. Participate in technical, sales, and other types of training. 2-year degree in agriculture related subjects, preferred. 3-4 years agricultural related experience. |
